Dr. Michaela is an Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Physician who graduated with her master’s and doctorate degrees from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She completed clinical rotations at UCSD Hospital, Rady Children’s Hospital, and Jesse Brown VA Hospital. At the fair, Dr.Michaela focuses on balancing the chakras and healing chronic psychoemotional burdens with acupuncture, reiki, and crystals. (She can avoid needles if a client prefers).
The seven major chakras have corresponding acupuncture points on the front and back side of the body. Dr. Michaela identifies the chakras that are imbalanced from an assessment of emotional and physical findings. Chakra-specific treatments follow with a combination of needles, reiki, and crystals. Dr.Michaela can also do a “tune up” of all the chakras with the same modalities.
Dr. Michaela specializes in a gentle form of acupuncture called Japanese Meridian Therapy. She loves treating patients who’re needle-phobic and energetically sensitive, like herself! She is thrilled to use her training, empathy, and intuition to help others on their healing journey.
